Website + WEFonline platform
The website and WEFonline customer portal of the World Express Freight forwarding company. Registered companies get prices, book couriers and follow their orders here. We have developed and run the system since December 2025.

WEFonline had been built by several developers since 2023 before it came to us. It worked, but new requirements were waiting. Partners such as webshops and other platforms needed to book shipments programmatically, and courier pickups kept running into the carriers' cut-off times. All of this had to be done on a live system.
What we delivered
- Partner API with key-based access, OpenAPI docs and webhooks
- Returns flow for webshops: the buyer pays by card, in euros, with an EU VAT-number check
- FedEx and UPS pickups matched to the carriers' daily cut-off times
- Operations and bug fixing on the live system
The solution
Four carriers side by side
UPS, FedEx and TNT prices come live from their APIs; GLS prices come from a rate table WEF maintains. Before an offer is shown, the system adds the customer's own margin and surcharges (private recipient, overweight, pallet, insurance).
Booking, label, pickup
From an accepted offer the system books the shipment with the carrier, creates the label and orders the pickup. The waybill number and tracking link show up in the orders list right away.
Partner API
External systems use an API key to get prices, book shipments and receive updates when something changes. Parcel booking on the ASAF freight exchange runs through it too.

The customer sees four carriers' prices in one search and books with one click; the label, the pickup and the tracking link come straight from the system. Partners get the same through the API.
